Six Months ago I would not have imagined that as August came around I would be in CA and not Odessa, Ukraine. Well since I returned home my plans of raising support and leaving in a couple months..were quickly put on hold. Two weeks after arriving in Ca My mom was admitted to the hospital because she was unable to eat for several weeks and ultimately had to have a drainage tube placed in her stomach due to a tumor that had caused a blockage in her small intestine. I am blessed to have been allowed to stay home and play nurse for my mother as well as help with my younger siblings while my dad took care of my mother. This however did not allow much time infact little to none at all for support raising. However God knows best and again I was blessed to spend time with one of my mentors and adopted granfather before he was called home to heaven.
Now the time has come. My committment to serve in Ukraine at least for a time has not be forgotten. So now I actually begin support raising as I look to leave for Odessa in December of this year. Lord willing my financial goal is around 17oo dollars a month. "God's will done god's way. Will not lack Gods resources." (Forgot who said it). The sure thing is that this saying is true. The great thing is that "God resources" are not limited to finances. I know that as I head towards ukraine God will sustaine me financially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
